The exact procedure recommended to you will be determined by your clinical and individual needs. This will be discussed during your initial consultation.
The maximum fees Kent Vascular Access charge for consultations/procedures are:
- Initial Consultation and Ultrasound examination of veins: £220
- Follow up Consultation (if required): £175
- Insertion of Tunnelled Central Venous Catheter / Port: £595
- Insertion of PICC: £295
- Removal of Tunnelled Central Venous Catheter / Port: £450
These fees are inclusive of local anaesthetic and sedation but do not include hospital fees. These will be charged separately in line with the insurer contract with the hospital.
Private Medical Insurance
Dr Leech is recognised by the following insurers:
- CS HEALTHCARE
- SIMPLY HEALTH
It is essential that you contact your insurance company before your procedure to obtain an authorisation code. Please note that you are responsible for any fees not covered by your insurer.
Dr Leech has reached an agreement with the majority of insurers regarding his fees for consultations and vascular access procedures and invariably these fees are reimbursed in full (AVIVA being the notable exception).If, in the unusual circumstance there is a shortfall (not including policy excesses, co-insurance agreements and policy restrictions), Dr Leech will reduce his fees so that the shortfall does not exceed £100.
